What Does a Quilt Show Judge Want?

We’ve all stared longingly at a beautiful quilt adorned with an award ribbon at one point and thought, “My quilts are not good enough to win anything!”

Join us to find out what really goes on in the judging room and what critiques and comments are made during the judging process. We will re-create a mock quilt judging with real quilts pre-entered by our guild members to be “judged” by Pepper Cory.

    Looking forward to seeing you.

If you have any questions, please contact Chris Pochwat  or Joyce Dimock.

Join us as Sharon K. Huffstetler, artist and owner of Vintage Reflections, Camden, SCspeaks on "The History of the Sewing Machine".

Sharon grew up in an Antique shop owned by her parents, so and has always had an appreciation for antiques. She is truly happy when she can bring an old machine back to life and get it into the hands of someone that can use it.

Vintage Reflections is home to the Featherweight Club, a place for quilters young and old to gather, learn, and sew. Offering classes, vintage and antique machines, servicing and notions we will have something for everyone!
