Meetings and Activities

Due to Covid-19, the Crystal Coast Quilters' Guild (CCQG) has had to make some changed to our regularly scheduled meeting and workshops.  Some of these changes can be found on the Events and Activities Calendars.  Currently, CCQG members can participate in Drop-in sewing on the second and fourth Tuesdays from 9:00 am - noon at the Morehead City Recreation Center, 1600 Fisher Street.

Crystal Coast Quilters' Guild monthly meetings are held at 6:00 PM on the third Thursday on the month at the Morehead City Recreation Center, 1600 Fisher Street.  Attendance is open to the public.  Come join us at a meeting to see what CCQG has to offer you.

Workshops and educational opportunities are offered throughout the year and can be found on the Events and Activities calendars.

Many members take part in Community Quilt projects: Kids quilts, Hero quilts, and Fidget quilts.  Recently, Kids quilts have been donated to the Carteret County Children's Advocacy Center, Ronald McDonald House of Greenville, and Coastal Pregnancy Care Center.  Hero Quilts are presented to service men and women as a token of our Nation's appreciation for their service and sacrifice.   Fidget quilts, currently, are being made for patients with dementia who are being cared for at Carteret Health Care.

Each year, guild members make a donation quilt to be raffled off as a fundraiser.   The 2022 Raffle Quilt is called "Groovin' Stars" is currently and tickets are still available.
