crystal Coast QUilters' guild

Inspired by our Cape Lookout National Seashore being certified as an International Dark Sky Park, the CCQG wanted to share the beauty of our own backyard with “Stargazing at the Cape”.

This improv quilt was the concept of guild members Pepper Cory and Stephanie Austin. Fabrics from multiple fabric lines and treasured stashes were used to find the perfect balance of both color and texture. Many guild members participated in constructing the blocks and final construction of this 92” x 100” quilt.

Surface design quilting was custom quilted by CCQG member, Laurie Mayo.

Proceeds from this quilt raffle will support our charitable quilts programs for children, veterans, cancer treatment and hospice patients.

Drawing for the winner will take place on October 16, 2025. You do not need to be present to win.
