The Crystal Coast Quilters' Guild (CCQG) has a long history of making and distributing quilts of comfort, not only to organizations in Carteret County, but throughout the Nation. One of the founding tenets of the Crystal Coast Quilters' Guild (CCQG) is our commitment to outreach efforts in our local community.
CCQG has partnered with the Carteret Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) of Southmountain and annually, provides over 100 quilts to the children in their program. Hero quilts are made and donated to veterans in recognition of their service.
CCQG maintains an on-going partnership with Carteret Health Care. Programs include Breast Cancer Awareness quilts for patients and quilts for newborns to commemorate National Quilting Day. The Guild has recently partnered with the SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House to provide comfort quilts for their patients and families.
