MYSTERY WINTER LANDSCAPE
Join Mary Henris on a fun exploration in creating a raw edge winter scene wall hanging. She will be showing us tricks, tips and techniques to make a small art piece that could be used to create a pillow top or center piece in a quilt.
Cutting board, iron, and ironing board are provided.
In addition to your sewing supplies, bring your lunch and/or snacks to share if you feel so inclined.

Needle:
New 90/14
Fabrics:
1 - Solid White Fat Quarter OR 1 - White on White Snowflake Patterned Fabric
2 - Solid Black Fat Quarters
Batting:
1- 18 X 22 inch piece Pellon 987F Fusible®
Threads:
Black 1- full Bobbin and Top thread that works well in your sewing machine
Yellow 1- light to medium color thread that works well in your sewing machine
Fusible Medium:
½ yard Pellon 805 Wonder Under® Paper backed Fusible Web
OPTIONAL 1- small package of Misty Fuse® White (buy one pack with a friend or two and share)
Tools:
Sewing machine in good working order with Cords, Manual, Feet
Cutting Mat
Ruler - long enough to cut 18 inch strips
Rotary cutter - with a good blade
Iron and Pressing surface
Scissors for Paper and Fabric
Wonder Clips® – these will work better than pins for binding
OPTIONAL Applique Pressing Sheet or Parchment Paper
PREPARATION BEFORE CLASS:
Assemble all of the above Supplies - (Use Check Off Boxes to help make sure you have not forgotten something)
Press the fusible Batting to one of the Solid Black Fat Quarters and Roll to bring to class.
