Academy of Applique in Historic Williamsburg

You are invited to attend the Academy of Applique in historic Williamsburg, March 4 – March 9, 2024. This event immediately follows the Mid Atlantic Quilt Show (February 29 – March 3, 2024).

The Academy offers classes catering to the beginner, intermediate and advanced stitcher. All types of appliqué are taught from wool to needle turn, back basting to Hawaiian, broderie perse to freezer paper. Each appliqué journey begins with a single step-and where better to begin than at the world- renowned Kingsmill Resort with surroundings sure to inspire! Spend a week with old friends and make some new ones along the way. Improve your skills, learn a new appliqué technique, try a new pattern - or start on your appliqué curriculum with nationally known teachers.
